Examples |

| Local storage data |
Your dark-mode preference (stored on your device only) |

Files you upload only to tools that require server processing |
Solely to perform the operation you requested, then deleted automatically (see Section 4) |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, religious or political information), and we ask that you do not submit such data through the Service.
Client-side by default. Most of our tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. In those cases, your file is read, processed and downloaded on your own device — it never leaves your computer or phone, and we never see it.
A small number of tools require processing on our servers (for example, certain conversion or OCR operations). When you use one of those tools:
- Your file is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our processing server.
- The file is used solely to perform the operation you requested — nothing else.
- The file and its output are deleted automatically after processing is complete, generally within a short time window (typically minutes).
- We do not inspect, open, analyse, sell, share or retain the content of your files.
- We do not use your files to train machine-learning models.
Please do not upload files containing information you would not want processed by a third party, such as unencrypted passwords, government identification documents, financial account details or confidential business records you are not authorised to share.

Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixel tags. We group them into four categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function. These cannot be switched off through our interface. They do not store personally identifying information.
- Preference cookies — remember choices you make, such as your dark-mode setting. These are stored locally on your device.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate (pages viewed, time on site, approximate region). Data is used in anonymised or aggregated form.
- Advertising cookies — set by us and by third-party advertising partners, including Google, to display relevant advertising and to measure ad performance.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how parts of the Service function.
To learn more about cookies in general, visit allaboutcookies.org.
06
Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising
Web Tool Bazar is free to use and is supported by advertising. We work with third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, to display advertisements on certain pages.
Google AdSense & the DoubleClick DART Cookie
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and/or other websites on the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- Google's use of the DART cookie or similar advertising identifiers enables it to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie and personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
- Google's collection and use of data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms. For more information about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, visit policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Other third-party ad networks
We may work with additional advertising partners from time to time. Each such partner operates under its own privacy policy. Where required by law, we will list these partners and provide opt-out links on this page.
Consent for personalised advertising
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another region that requires it, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies or serving personalised advertising, using a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking the cookie / privacy settings link available on the site or in the footer.
Do Not Track signals
Our Service does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no industry-wide standard for how such signals should be interpreted. You can use the opt-out mechanisms listed above to limit personalised advertising.
We use analytics services (which may include Google Analytics and other privacy-respecting analytics providers) to understand how the Service is used. Analytics helps us:
- See which tools are most used and where users get stuck.
- Identify and fix errors, slow pages and broken links.
- Understand general traffic patterns and referrers.
Where we use Google Analytics, we have enabled IP anonymisation and configure the service to collect data in a way that minimises personal identification, consistent with applicable data-protection guidance.
08
How We Use Information
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate and maintain the Service.
- To process the files and requests you submit through our tools.
- To respond to your enquiries, feedback, bug reports and correction requests.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud and abuse.
- To measure and improve the performance, usability and features of the Service.
- To display advertising that funds the free availability of the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to those listed above without informing you first.
09
Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent — for non-essential cookies, personalised advertising and any marketing communications you opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract — to provide the Service you have requested, such as processing a file through a tool.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse, improve functionality and understand aggregate usage in a way that does not override your rights.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, court orders and lawful requests from public authorities.
10
Sharing & Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share information only in the limited circumstances below:
- Service providers. Trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Service — for example web hosting, content delivery and analytics. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for anything other than the service they provide to us.
- Advertising partners. As described in Section 6, third-party advertising partners may set cookies and collect information directly when you view ads on the site. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to do so by law, court order, subpoena or a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.
- Protection of rights. Where necessary to protect our rights, property, safety, users or the public — for example in cases of fraud, abuse or security incidents.
- Business transfer. If Web Tool Bazar is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and any applicable regulator where required.
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected:
- Files uploaded to server-side tools: deleted automatically after processing completes, generally within a short time window.
- Contact form messages: retained only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then periodically removed.
- Server log data: retained for a limited period for security, debugging and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymised.
- Analytics data: retained according to the retention settings of the analytics provider, in anonymised or aggregated form where possible.
- Cookie data: retained according to the individual cookie's expiry, as set by us or by the third party placing it.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we handle. These measures include:
- Encryption in transit using HTTPS / TLS for all data sent to and from the Service.
- Access controls limiting who can access server infrastructure.
- Automatic deletion of uploaded files after processing.
- Regular review of dependencies and server software for known vulnerabilities.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to restrict processing — to request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
- Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, to withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint — with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@webtoolbazar.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
14
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the business purposes and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you access to the Service or charge different prices because you exercised your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, email support@webtoolbazar.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request”. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at support@webtoolbazar.com. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws, we do not knowingly serve interest-based advertising to users we believe to be children.

International Data Transfers
Web Tool Bazar is operated from India, and our servers and service providers may be located in countries other than your own. This means your information may be transferred to, stored in and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data-protection rules than your home country.
Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an equivalent mechanism, and we require our service providers to apply adequate protections.
The Service may contain links to external websites, resources and services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites.
We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit, particularly those that collect personal information or process payments.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective from” date at the top of this page and, where required, provide a more prominent notice on the site.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
